Accounts Receivable Financing

If your customers pay on 30-, 60-, or 90-day terms, receivables financing can turn unpaid invoices into working cash, so you can meet payroll and take on new work without waiting to get paid.

How It Works

  1. You invoice your business customers as usual.
  2. A funding partner advances a percentage of the invoice value.
  3. When your customer pays, you receive the balance, minus the partner’s fees.

Factoring vs. Receivables Lines of Credit

  • Factoring — you sell your invoices to a factoring company, which may handle collections. Available with or without recourse.
  • Asset-based lines of credit — you borrow against receivables, and often inventory, and keep control of collections.

Advance rates and fees vary by industry, invoice quality, and your customers’ credit.

A Good Fit For

  • B2B companies with creditworthy commercial or government customers
  • Staffing, transportation, manufacturing, distribution, and wholesale businesses
  • Growing companies with cash tied up in receivables
